Saturday, February 16th, Kelly from Romney Ridge Farm in Woolwich Maine, will join us from 1:00 – 3:00 PM with her locally hand-dyed yarns and fibers, needle felting kits and stationery. Want to learn more about needle felting? Kelly will be offering needle felting demonstrations during her visit.

NIGHTINGALE FIBERS
Sunday, March 3, Cynthia from Nightingale Fibers joins us for a sampling of her beautiful hand-dyed fibers from Greenfield New Hampshire, 11:30 to 1:00 PM. Cynthia says bring your needles because she will have many tempting fibers for you to try.

KNIT COMPANION FOR BEGINNERS ***WORKSHOP IS FULL

I know I am not the only one who is a total techno-phobe. I basically know how to turn on my I-Pad and pray. Pray it turns on and I don’t drop it, or “screw” it up bad enough to have to take a trip to the Apple store, where I try super hard to look like I really understand the “twentysomething” patiently showing me how to navigate through I-Pad hell, all the while knowing that the four year old sitting across from me is having NO problems.

Put your fears aside as Lindsay and some of our best gadget guru’s take you through a beginners guide to Knit Companion.
Knit Companion is the newest App which turns your pattern PDF library into a manageable electronic format.
Our first half-hour will be guiding you through some hidden options
with  Ravelry and then onto the tutorial.
We ask that you have your I-Pads charged and the Knit Companion App already downloaded.
Unfortunately Knit Companion is only available for Apple Products.
